On the island of Bali, a car carrying a group of Russian tourists fell into a ravine 25 m deep. There are no fatalities as a result of the accident, the local portal Detik reported on January 16.
According to the publication, there were four people in the car, including the driver. All of them were taken to the hospital with injuries. The incident occurred in the Buleleng area of Bali.
The local police have also confirmed the fact of an accident with Russian tourists. Previously, the cause of the accident was that the driver could not cope with the controls, as his brakes failed.
On December 31, 2022, it was reported that 15 people were killed as a result of a passenger bus falling into a ravine in western Mexico, in the state of Nayarit. It is known that 48 Mexican tourists from the state of Guanajuato were on the bus. According to the preliminary version, the cause of the accident was the loss of control due to a violation of the speed limit.
